Adem Özkul belgesel yönetmeni ve fotoğrafçıdır. Yakın zamanda “Duvarların Arkasında, İslam Dünyasında Kadın” belgeselinin yönetmenliğini yapmıştır. Türkçe, Arapça ve İngilizce dillerinde yayınlanan belgesel 14 bölümden oluşmaktadır. Umman, Yemen, Sudan, Lübnan, Mısır, Suriye, Malezya, Endonezya, İran, Cezayir, Filistin, Ürdün, Pakistan ve Türkiye’de kadın gerçeğini her bölümde bir ülke ele alınacak şekilde işlemiştir.

Adem Ozkul was born in the Eyup region of Istanbul in 1970. He completed his primary education and graduated from the high school in Eyup ,after, he was graduated from the faculty of economics of the Anadolu University. His interest for photography began at his early teenage. When he showed the photographs of the Mediteranean that he had taken at the summer holiday after the first year of the High school, none of his classmates believed that they were taken by himself, and made him very angry by claiming that they were postcards.
After many years he would say smilingly:
”The things that they were claimed unaware compliments infact.”
